For Australian Aboriginal people, the use of symbols is a very important cultural practice. The symbols are used to pass on information. They can sometimes have multiple meanings. Aboriginal Symbols can be used to convey complex cultural stories. However, the symbols included in these cards are generally understood everywhere.

The set contains 2 x 30 (total of 60) beautifully illustrated and high quality symbol cards.

There are numerous ways to use these cards, as a matching or memory game, as a prompt for art and craft or stimulus for discussion or language building. Included is a list of fabulous teaching and activity suggestions.
